Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company provides around-the-clock fire and rescue response for the communities of northern Montour County.  They are also trained to assist area emergency medical personnel through their Quick Response Service unit.  In addition, the members of WVFC are here to assist members of the community through fund raising and social events.  If you are interested in serving your community through the volunteer fire service, please contact Chief Gary Roberts at 570-437-2069.

Our volunteer fire and rescue personnel are available 24/7 through 911 for fire calls, auto accidents, water rescues, search & rescue incidents, & public service calls.

WVFC medical first responders are trained to assist the Danville Ambulance Service with medical emergencies.

Live music on Friday evenings

Fund raising activities held throughout the year include hoagie sales, monthly breakfasts, chicken bbq, roast beef dinners, local food stands, and a fall festival.
